Double Entry

Jul 18, 2017
Hello,

I am a UK citizen traveling to Vietnam for just a few days, then traveling to Laos, then returning to Vietnam. Do I qualify for a visa exemption? Will I need to get a visa for the second entry? If so, can I do this upon arrival?

Thanks,

Dear Seema.

We would like to confirm you that according to the Vietnam Immigration's new policy, from July 1, 2015 to June 30th 2018, Great Britain, France, Spain, German, Italy, and Belarus no need Visa for stays of up to to 15 days. However, the previous visit must be far from the next visit at least 30 days.

As your above mentioned itinerary, you need a visa for the second entry. However, you can apply for Visa on arrival while your are in laos at https://www.vietnam-evisa.org/apply-visa.html to get the approval letter which you can use to get Visa directly at the airport once you arrive.

Please email us via visa@vietnam-evisa.org for more information

Kind regards,

Amanda - Evisa team.
