First direct flight from Hanoi to Hiroshima will be offered by Vietjet.

Budget airline Vietjet said Friday it would open a direct route connecting Hanoi with Hiroshima from July 19 to boost investment and tourism between Vietnam and Japan. There would be two weekly flights on Wednesday and Sunday, the airline announced at a ceremony attended by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh who is in Japan for the expanded summit of the Group of Seven (G7).

Khau Vai pass: wild canyon in northern Vietnam
