Hallo,
I am currently travelling through Thailand and cambodia. Propably on the 25th of november i will cross the border by bus on my way from phnom penh to hochiminh. i do not have a ticket yet. Is it possible to get an e visa/visa on arrival, if i cross the border as described above?
ps: i am from germany

Dear Daniel Mueller,
We would like to answer your question that German Passort can apply for Evisa to enter Vietnam via Land border, but you need to apply online in advance to get the Visa letter due to it is impossible to apply Visa directly once you arrive.
However, German passport can have 15 days Visa exemption if you did not enter Vietnam 30 days before (Your passport valid for 6 months).
