Do I understand correctly that, as an Italian, I do not need a visa (of any sort) if my stay is less than 15-day long?
How is the procedure at the border?

Thanks for your question!
It is informed that Italian passport holders do not need visa if staying in Vietnam less than 15 days. However, the previous visit must be far from the next one at least 30 days. At the border, you just need to show your passport and the Police Man will out the 15 days exemption stamp on it
