Hello, Im going from Siem Reap to Hanoi in 2 weeks. I have a cambodian visa already. Do I need a vietnamese visa also or is there special visa because Im French? Also when I apply for the e visa, I have to pay 45 dollars for the visa online and also 45 dollars for the stamps in arrival at hanoi arport?

For your case, we would like to suggest that if you arrive Viet Nam from Siem Reap by air, we can support you get Visa on arrival. You just need to apply here: http://www.vietnam-evisa.org/apply-visa.html. We will send you the confirmation email after your settle payment successfully. After 2 working days ( except Saturday Sunday and holiday ) , the Approval Letter will be sent back for you. Please use that letter for boarding plane and getting Visa stamp at VN airport.
Moreover, you need to prepare some more thing to get Visa stamp. These are Application for enter & exit form, 2 photos 4x6 passport size, stamping fee (45USD for single entry ) by cash only. ( We will remind you again in the Approval Letter Email )
If you enter to Viet Nam by land, you must contact Embassy to arrange Visa.
