I am travelling around with a friend from Thailand to loas, cambodia then to vietnam we wanted to most of it via trains and buses, as this is a cheaper option. Can we still apply for our visas for vietnam this way?

We are so sorry to inform that you have to apply Vietnam Visa at Vietnam Embassy in your living country. We can not support visa on arrival by train, only process visa on arrival by air.
