1 month single entry and 15 days without visa

Mar 11, 2016

Hello,
I plan to visit Vietnam from end of March till beginning of May. All in all for about 6 weeks.
But I will travel to some other county inbetween. Maybe Thailand or Burma.

The question is:
if i travel to Vietnam and stay lets say for less then 4 weeks, then travelling to Thailand or Burma and going back to Vietnam after 5 to 10 days and immigrate again to Vietnam for an other max. 15 days. Is a 1 month visa, single entry, enough then because as German citizen I can stay in Vietnam without visa for another 15 days if I immigrated to Vietnam before with a valid visa.

up to max. 1 month with visa single entry - 5-10 days outside of Vietnam - back to Vietnam15 days without visa as a German citizen

and is it also possible the other way around?
15 days Vietnam without visa as a German citizen - 5-10 days outside of Vietnam - back to Vietnam up to max. 1 month with visa single entry

Dear Sir/ Madam

Thank you for your email.

We would like to inform that German are exempted from visa for 15 days, but the previous visit must be far at least 30 days the next visit. So in the first visit to Vietnam, if you stay in Vietnam less than 15 days, you can enter Vietnam without visa. But for the next visit (if it is not far 30 days from the next visit), you need to get visa. And with 1 month single/ multiple entry visa, you are allowed to stay in Vietnam for full 30 days. In case, you have to go out and enter Vietnam many time, you should get multiple visa so that you can enter Vietnam many time in one month.

Any more question, please feel free to contact us.

Regards,

Evisa Team
