Arriving on Cruise ship for 10 hours

Dec 27, 2017
We are 8 Canadians arriving at Phu My (ho chi mihn) on a cruise ship. We are taking a tour for 8 hours and returning back to the ship in the evening. What do we need in terms of Visa?

Dear Harsh,

Thanks for your question,

We would like to inform that you guys can apply for e-visa to enter Vietnam by cruise. In addition, in order to apply for e-visa, please send your passport scans and passport photos to our email visa@vietnam-evisa.org for visa processing; it takes 4 working days to process your visa, the fee is $44 for 1 month single entry tourist visa (including $25 stamping fee).

When I go to your website, to fill the form out, it does not show the cruise port Phu MY, all it shows is the airport?
How do we apply for the cruise port, when your web site does not have it listed as one of the entry ports

Dear Harsh,

The form which you saw on our website is for visa on arrival ONLY which is valid at the airport

Based on your given information, E-visa is not available at Phu My port in Ho Chi Minh. Please enter Viet Nam by Phu My seaport in Vung Tau city and apply for e-visa. If you agree to change your arrival port, please send your passport scan and passport photos to our email visa@vietnam-evisa.org for visa processing. After that, we will send you the form to apply for E-VISA and the link to settle payment.

Any problem in hurry, please do not hesitate to contact us at visa@vietnam-evisa.org or call us at (+84) 909 343 525

Best regards,

Helen Truong (Ms.)
