I am a consultant business analyst with 12 years' experience in the IT field. I'm looking to experience life in a different city and expand my business.
What are the requirements for me to gain entry into the country and to apply for work while at the same time maintaining my consulting practice?
Are there any educational or financial requirements?

We would like to confirm that you can apply for Vietnam visa on arrival - Bussiness visa type. However, at the moment we could only process you 1-year multiple entries visa. In case you would like to stay Vietnam more than that time. You should contact Vietnam Embassy in your living country to apply for long term business visa.
In term of visa on arrival, if you apply for a business visa with us, no document are required.
