Difference between evisa and approval letter

• E-visa: you will get E-visa letter to enter Vietnam by plane, cruise, land, etc. but it is just for 1 month single tourist/business visa. Once you applied E-visa, you will not have to pay anything upon arrival. You can apply it at this link: https://www.vietnam-evisa.org/apply-e-visa.html
• If you want to stay more than 1 month, you can apply for visa on arrival to get the approval letter. With this type of visa, you just pay service fee online to process visa. Upon arrival, you must pay stamping fee in cash to get visa stamp to enter Vietnam. And visa on arrival is valid for plane only.
