Do you need a visa when crossing into Vietnam at a land border from China?

Nov 26, 2015

We are British citizens, planning to spend 2 weeks in Vietnam in Jan/Feb. We will be crossing into Vietnam from China, at a land border. I understand that visas are no longer needed for British tourists spending 2 weeks in Vietnam, and will this exemption apply when arriving from China?
