e-visa taking boat from Phnom Pen, Cambodia into Vietnam

Oct 08, 2017
Is there an entry port if I take the boat from Phnom Pen, Cambodia into Vietnam? We wanted to obtain an e-visa prior to leaving the US and will fly into Cambodia. We plan to take a boat trip to arrive in Chau Doc. Our hotel is here.

I have the list of land entry ports but cannot tell if this is one.

Thank you in advance.

Hi, I am from germany. I would like to stay for 22 days in Vietnam. Can I obtain an e visa? How long does it need to get the stamp at the airport. Is there a long waiting time? Or would you advise me to apply for a visa in the Vietnamese embassy in Germany?
Thank you in advance.

Dear Frauke Voskuhl,

We would like to inform that from July 01st 2017 to June 30th 2018, Vietnam offers a 15-day visa exemption with single entry for visitors from Germany. Their passports should have at least six months of validity upon the date of arrival to meet airlines’ requirements, and their arrival date is NOT within 30 days from their last exit date with visa exemption. Otherwise, they will need a Vietnam visa.

If you stay for 22 days in Vietnam, you can apply for a visa on arrival by filling in the form then pay online. After 2 working days (for tourist visa), we will send you the approval letter via email, you just need to print it out to board the plane and to get your visa stamped at the Vietnam int’l airport.

Please go to the follow link to apply: https://www.vietnam-evisa.org/apply-visa.html

Should you have any further enquiries, please do not hesitate to contact us at visa@vietnam-evisa.org or call us at (+84) 909 343 525

Best regards,

I am arriving in Vietnam for an excursion; from a ship; a cruise line. These forms request me to fill out an airport destination when I WILL NOT be flying in to Vietnam, but arriving by ship; a cruise line.

Dear Janet Diaz,

We would like to inform that travelers should obtain an evisa for cruise arrival. However, please make sure if you are eligible for a Vietnam evisa
