Hi,
It sounds like an evisa is only a partial application done online, and it should be completed(stamped) on Vietnam arrival. Would I be charged another sum of money for the entry stamp by a vietnamese official upon arrival? And how long will it take for the stamp proceedure?

Thanks for your question,
In case, you applied visa on arrival, you need prepare stamping fee to pay directly for GOV when you come. This fee is not pay online , please take note it many thanks.
Stamping fee for every type of visa as below :
+ single visa ( 1 month , 3 months) : 25$ / pax
+ Multiple visa ( 1 monh, 3 months ): 50$ / pax
