Flying from Bangkok to HCM for Only 2 Days (Still Need Visa)

Hello there

Im on a Non-O visa in Thailand that needs to leave the country and re-enter after crossing any land border.

Do I still need a visa even if I go to Ho Chi Minh just for a two day-one night trip coming from Bangkok and returning back to Bangkok?
