Hi my husband is french and we are traveling in veitnam from the 4th july 2016. We are staying for a one night stop over on our way the europe. Does he need a visa?

Hello,
We would like to confirm you that according to the Vietnam Immigration's new policy, from July 1, 2015 to June 2016, French no need Visa if they stay in Vietnam less than 15 days. However, the previous visit must be far from the next visit at least 30 days.
IN THIS CASE: if you just transit and do not go out of the airport, you do not need to apply visa.
