My husband and I are planning our holidays in Vietnam next August. We will be in the country for 15 days. Is it necessary to get the VISA or any other official document?

Thank you for your questions.
According to the Vietnam Immigration's new policy, from July 1, 2015 to June 2017, 6 countries (including France, Germany, Italy, Spain, UK) no need Visa if they stay in Vietnam less than 15 days. However, the previous visit must be far at least 30 days the next visit.
At present, we haven't had any new from Vietnam Immigration that this visa exemption policy is extended or not after Jun/30/2017. So could you please wait until that time and check again?
In case, you need to get visa, you still have enough time to apply for visa.

As we mentioned, we do not know if that policy will be extended or not do we are not sure if you need visa to enter Vietnam. If it is continued, you will not need visa based on your itinerary
