I have a USA passport, do I need a visa ti enter Vietnam?

I am taking a cruise that leaves Hong Kong from Royal Caribbean. The ports it stopes in are NHA TRANG Vietnam and HO CHI MINH Vietnam.
I am a USA passport holder and my traveling companion has a Mexican passport, do we need a visa to enter the country

US and Mexican passport holders need visa to enter Vietnam. US citizens can apply E-visa at this link to enter Vietnam by cruise: https://www.vietnam-evisa.org/apply-e-visa.html

For Mexican, please apply visa at the Vietnam Embassy
