Hello my name is Raquel. I am from Spain and my friend is from the USA, we are travelling to Vietnam in January 2017. Do we nees visa and how soon should we applied for it? We'll be in Vietnam and Thailand for total of 14 days

We would like to confirm that Spain passport holders have 15 days Vietnam Visa exemption. It means that Spain citizens are able to stay in Vietnam less than 15 days without Visa.
USA passport holders are required Visa to arrive Vietnam. The Visa processing time takes 2 working days only. So you can apply for Visa 2 weeks before you arrive Vietnam.
