Off a Ship and onto to a plane in Vietnam

Nov 13, 2013

Hello there: I will be taking a cruise with Azamara which will stop in Vietnam for 2 days, however due to lack of enough days off , I will have to return to the states from Vietnam. The cruise line is asking me to find out whether I need or not a visa to be able to depart from Vietnam, since I will arriving by ship and departing by plane. Can you please indicate if I need to apply for a Vietnam visa to e able to debark the ship and transfer my self to the airport to board a flight departing Vietnam to the states? Thank you very much Awaiting for your response

Dear Sir,

Thanks for your question,

We are pleased to reply that we are just support visa on arrival which is applied by air. So you enter Vietnam by ship, please contact The Vietnam Embassy in your living country to get visa. We are so sorry for this case.

Regards,
