I am wondering vietnam is offering only one month entry visa for every nation where any US citizen is getting 1 year multiple entry visa. certainly this is the reward for Americans who fought against Vietnam for 26 years and killed thousands and thousand vietnami people.

We would like to confirm that From Aug 25 2016, The Immigration Department will approve 1 type of visa - One Year Multiple Entries Visa for US citizens only. However, you can stay 90 days maximum per visit for Tourist purpose and 1 year for business purpose.
The fee is 30 USD/pax for Tourist and 350 USD/pax for business
The stamping fee: 135 USD/pax
