Single or multiple entry visa

Apr 14, 2019
We arrive in Hanoi from the UK on 26th October, do a tour of vietnam and then go to Cambodia on the 10th November. We stay in Cambodia for 3 nights then fly from Siem Reap to Hanoi, have a three hour layover then fly back to the UK. As we entering Vietnam twice do we need a multiple entry visa.

Dear David Hughes,

Thanks for your concerning with our website!

We would like to clarify your issue as follows:

UK passport holders do not need a Vietnamese visa for 15 days. The passport must be valid at least 6 months from the entry date. The previous visit must be far away from the next one at least 30 days.

+ Based on your information, you can use visa exemption for first trip on Oct 26 (since you stay less than 15 days)

+ For returned flight from Siem Riep, you have 3 hour layover there, you should check with airline if you pass through Immigration or not. If yes, you need visa for this way. You can apply for single visa to come back

For further information, please contact us at visa@vietnam-evisa.orgor call us through hotline 0909 343 525

Regards,

Helen Truong (Ms.)
