Hello,
I read online the stamping fee is now $135. Is that true? I'm staying 12 days in March and would like to know the total cost with a breakdown of each item.
Also, why is it more expensive for the Embassy to process our visas?

Dear sir/Madam
Stamping fee is a fee directly paid to Vietnam Immigration Officer IN CASH at the arrival airport to get your visa stamped. This is a fixed amount to pay for Government.
135USD is the stamping for 1 year multiple entry visa only. If you apply for another type of visa, please check the detail fee below.
In accordance with Circular No. 157/2015/TT-BTC dated October 08, 2015 of the Ministry of Finance, stamping fee for foreigners under the management of Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affairs as details:
Single entry visa: US$25
Multiple entries visa with the duration of:
03 months: US$50
More than 03 months to 06 months: US$95
More than 06 months to 1 year: US$135
