Mar 05, 2016

I am visiting Vietnam for 6 days, then flying to Cambodia for 2 days, and then flying back into Vietnam for another 4 days. As this is will be a double entry, will I need a tourist visa?
Thank you.

Hi!

I am a Philippine passport holder and my husband is a Norwegian, we are planning to travel to Vietnam for 9 days. Our flight will be from Oslo, Norway then we will change plane in Ho Chi Minh Airport then travel to Philippines and stay there for 31 days. On our way back (from Philippines to Ho Chi Minh) we are planning to stay for 9 days in Vietnam. Do we need a Visa for this situation?

DEAR Riza Karlsen

Thanks for your concern,

For Philippine passport holder Vietnam offers 21 days visa exemptions with single entry. However, their passports should have at least six months of validity upon the date of arrival to meet airlines’ requirements, if you stay longer than 21 days please apply for visa

Vietnam offers 15-day visa exemptions with single entry for visitors from NORWAY.. However, their passports should have at least six months of validity upon the date of arrival to meet airlines’ requirements, and their arrival date is NOT within 30 days from their last exit date with visa exemption. Otherwise, they will need a Vietnam visa.

If you stay more than 15 days please apply for Vietnam visa

You can follow the link to apply visa online with us https://www.vietnam-evisa.org/apply-visa.html

Apply visa online, You will get visa stamp on the passport upon arrival, All you need to do is fill your information in the form and make payment online.
After that, we will send You the approval letter via email, please print it out to board the plane and use it to get visa stamp on the passport upon arrival.

Hi
Next month I am visiting Vietnam for 17 days then travelling to Cambodia for 5 days; then re-entering Vietnam for a further 5 days prior to returning to the UK.
My wife, a UK resident who holds an Irish Passport will be accompanying me.

What is the appropriate Visa option for us.

Many thanks
