Aug 30, 2017
our family will be on Princess cruise this coming October 26 with only one day visiting Chan May (Hue/Da Nang port). The cruise ship offer getting the required visa while onboard for $56. Is there an online service that we can do ourselves?
Thanks

Dear sir/madam,

Thank you for your question.

Please be informed that if you just enter Vietnam within 3 ways - by air, by plane and by sea: you need a single entry visa only.

However, you need to get Evisa to Visit Vietnam by sea. Please send us your passport scan and the passport sized photo as wel as advise us your exact arrival Port via  visa@vietnam-evisa.org we will process Evisa for you.

The service fee is 44 USD/USD including the stamping (This fee is non-refundable in any cases).

Any help please call us at +84.909.343.525

Regards,

Best regards,

Thank you for quick reply.
Another question: my friend who is also on the cruise and he has a Vietnamese passport. He uses the Vietnamese passport in the past when flying and had no problem at Tan son Nhat airport.
so a Vietnam passport is okay at Da Nang Port?
Thanks

Dear Sir/Madam,

Yes, it's correct. He can use his Vietnamese passport to enter Danang port.

Thanks,
