We would like to confirm that Italy citizen are able to stay in Vietnam less than 15 days without Visa. So your husband can come directly without Visa. But you need to apply for Visa before arrival.
You can apply for Visa on arrival on our website https://www.vietnam-evisa.org/apply-visa.html, then we will send you the Visa approval letter via your email. You use this letter to get Visa stamp at the Vietnam airport upon arrival.
