Hi, we are flying from London to Hanoi, arriving 24th February. We fly back to London from Ho Chi Minh City at 00:40hrs 11th March, so we check-in for this flight late on the 10th March which is 15 days in total. Due to our flight time, we fall into a 16th day by 40 minutes so I am questioning whether we require a visa? (we're both British passport holders and in theory we will be checked-in for our flight home on the 15th day)

UK passport holders can have 15 days visa exemption if the previous visit must be far from the next visit at least 30 days.
However, as your above mentioned shedule , we would like to recommend you to apply 1 month single entry visa to avoid unexpected issues may happen due the exit date is counted 16 days.
