I want to ask that rather the visa is for only once on single entry or we can get the visa again.

Yes, if you would like to stay more in Vietnam, you have 2 choices, one for visa extension and renew visa. With the visa extension, you only can extend it if you still stay in Vietnam. On the orther hand, you can renew the visa, if you are already out of Vietnamm or your visa request is different with the current visa type.
