I read on vietnamvisa.govt.vn that Vietnam Immigration Regulations issued on 19 JUNE 2017, VALID UNTIL 30 JUNE 2018 Italian citizens....however there is no mention whether this has been renewed now that June is gone. I am travelling to Vietnam in a week and then I read elsewhere that starting from the 1rst of July 2018, French, UK, Germany, Spain and Italy citizens can stay 30 days maximum in Vietnam without a visa. Is that correct? I cannot confirmation on official website.

From July 01 2018 to June 30 2021 Italian passport holders can travel in Vietnam Visa-free for a maximum of 15 days.
However, if you wish to extend your stay, you can apply online on our website to get visa on arrival. The process is quite fast and easy. You only need to fill in the form then make online payment. After 2 working days, we will send you the approval letter via email. You should print it out to board the plane and to get the visa stamp at the Vietnam int’l airport.
