dear Sir, dear Madam,
As German citizen I am travelling with a French group to vietnam for a long weekend. Arrival is June 30th and July 1st. Do we need to apply for visa? Is the visa exemption below 15 days extended to end of 2016?

Thanks for your question!
We would like to inform that if you enter Vietnam on Jun/30/2016 and stay less than 15 days, you do not need visa. Until now, we have not heard any official announcement of the Government about extension for 15 days exemption for 5 European countries to the end of 2016. Therefore, after Jun/30/2016, you have to apply visa if you want to enter Vietnam.
