We have been informed that the 30 day visa is no longer available for US citizens as of 25 August, 2017, and that only 1 year multiple entry visas with a $135 USD will be issued. Is this true?

Thank you for your question.
We would like to inform that at present, US citizens can apply for what type of visa they want (1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year). The policy you know is the old new. Now The Immigration has changed and allow US citizens to apply for any visa they want.
