Hello, we are UK citizens and are planning to go to China in August 2017, staying there a few months, then travelling to Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. We are not sure when, or whether we will fly or take a train. How far in advance can we get a visa approval letter? Can we apply from China when we know when we will be travelling?

We would like to confirm that UK passport holders can apply for Visa on arrival to get The approval letter within 2 working days exluding the weekend. Besides, you can apply online while you are in China. But please note that the approval letter is valid in case you visit Vietnam by Plane only.
If you would like to enter Vietnam by Train/Bus, please inform the correct arrival port. Then send us the passport scan, 2 passport sized photos in order to process Evisa for you to arrive via land border.
