I'm travelling to Thailand and Vietnam in april to june. The problem is, I'm not sure yet which date I'm going to be in Vietnam. Is it also possible to apply for a visum when you're landed in Hanoi? Or do you have to apply through this site?
Also, do you need to bring american dollars?

Thank you for your question.
We would like to inform that you need to apply visa online first so that you can have a visa approval letter from Vietnam Immigration. With this letter, you can board the plane and get visa at Vietnam airport.
If you are not sure about the arrival date, you can put the approximate date as you can arrive in Vietnam within the period time given on your visa letter. For example, if you apply 3 months single visa with arrival date on Apr/20, your visa letter will be valid for 90 days from Apr/20 to Jul/20, you can enter Vietnam any date after Apr/20, but should leave before Jul/20.
By the way, you need to prepare US dollar in cash for stamping fee when you arrive.
