Hi, we are travelling to Vietnam for 14 days landing at Ho Chi Minh City airport from there we would like to do a 3 day trip to Cambodia and then back to Ho Chi Minh City. Am i right in thinking we need a multiple entry visa to Vietnam? but can we travel through land boarders with this type of visa?

In your case, you should apply multiple entry visa which allows you to enter Vietnam many times within the time your visa is valid. When you arrive in Vietnam airport, you will get multiple entry visa there. Then you can use this visa to come back Vietnam from Cambodia.
To apply visa, please fill in the application form online at our website here https://www.vietnam-evisa.org/apply-visa.html . After receiving your payment, we will process and send a visa approval letter to your email within 2 working days (for tourist visa). Then you just need to print this letter out and use it to get visa stamp at Vietnam airport when you arrive.
