Visa on arrival

Mar 10, 2016

I will visit Vietnam on April 2016 and I am Philippines passport holder (21 days free visa to Vietnam) but on this coming trip I plan to stay 3 months for visiting a vietnamese friend. Should I apply visa on arrival (3 months) so that i don't need to extend my visa or I don't need to exit/re-entry again in vietnam.

Dear Sir/ Madam

Thank you for your question.

We would like to confirm that if you will stay in Vietnam for 3 months, you need to get visa. And you can apply visa on arrival on our website https://www.vietnam-evisa.org/apply-visa.html . Then we will process and send you visa approval letter via your email within 2 working days. You just need to print the letter out to board the plane and get visa stamp at Vietnam airport.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any question.

Regards,

E-visa team
