Hello there!
I need to travel for only a week to Ho Chi Minh city, on December the 11th, coming back on Dec the 18th. Does a Visa On Arrival would work for me, and how much would it cost? -in addition, I'd like to know if aside from my valid passport, I need any other type of document upon arrival?

Fist of all, we see you filled your nationality is United State of America, we would like to inform with you the new policy from our Government has been promulgated since 25th Aug 2016 : "To create relations of bilateral cooperation between the US Government and Vietnam, content is the Government of Vietnam Visa valid for up to One Year Multiple Entry Visa for US citizens entering Vietnam (90 days maximum per visit) for tourism purposes, seminars, conferences, private business or working with agencies in business office in Vietnam and meet the other conditions for entry into Vietnam under Vietnam law. "
That does mean that American now has only 1 option to apply 1 year multiple Visa.
Secondly, we would like to introduce you the procedure:
1st, you just need to fill your information out at :vietnam-evisa.org/apply-visa.html
2nd, we will send you the approval letter via your email within 2 working days (normal service), within 8 hours (urgent service), and within 30 minutes (emergency service), then you can print it out.
3rd, please prepare your passport, the approval letter and 2 passport photos to get Visa at Vietnam Visa landing counter
