Dear Sir/madam,

Thanks fpr your question

We would like to confirm that German passport holders can have 15 days visa exemption, but the previous visit must be far from the next visit at least 30 aday.

If you would like to stay longer, you can apply visa on arrival online. Please kindly check this link to apply: https://www.vietnam-evisa.org/apply-visa.html

Any help feel free to contact us

If he has applied for a 6 months multiple entry visa and it is expiring, does he also have to wait for another 30 days to enter Vietnam again upon expiry. Is there a maximum number of visa he can apply in one year?

Hi !
I have been to VN many times before, last year on a free visa-on-arrival for 15 days.
Is this still possible ? I am planning to stay in VN from 14. to 28. October 2017.
Your answer is very much appreciated !
Cheers !

Dear Hans-Dieter Kaak,

Thank you for your question.

We would like to confirm you that according to the Vietnam Immigration's new policy, from July 1, 2015 to June 2018, 6 countries (including France, Germany, Italy, Spain, UK) no need Visa if staying in Vietnam less than 15 days. However, the previous visit must be far at least 30 days the next visit and your passport must be valid at least 6 months from your entry date.
