I am a french living in Australia and I'll be travelling Vietnam for 12 days arriving in Hanoi on the 3rd of July and departing from Ho Chi Minh on the 15th
do I need to apply for a visa ??

Thanks for your question!
French passport holders do not need visa if staying in Vietnam within 15 days. However, the previous visit must be far from the next one at least 30 days. In addition, the passport must be valid at least 6 months
