Hi i am going on a cruise in June from Singapore to Hong Kong and have 3 stops in Vietnam, Hoi Chi Min City, Danang and Nha Trang, I am trying to establish if I need a visa to allow be to get off the ship? If so what are the costs involved, does this need to be arranged before travel or on the ship and is this payable for children too?

You can apply for a Vietnam evisa if you enter Vietnam by sea. Please notice that an evisa to Vietnam once issued is valid for 30 days with single entry. Please send your passport scan + 1 passport size photo in white background for visa processing to our email visa@vietnam-evisa.org. In addition, you should inform us the exact arrival and exit port.
The fee is US44$/pax and the process takes 2-3 working days.Please arrange before travel.
