Visa when crossing by land from Cambodia to Vietnam

I am a UK resident and will be crossing from Cambodia to Vietnam at the Vinh Xuong, Vietnam (or Chau Doc) land crossing spending 13 days in Vietnam. I just wanted to know if I can get a visa at the border or if I am better getting an e-visa?
