Applying V. visa for cruise excursion (1 day port visit)

Oct 06, 2017
Is it possible to apply the visa on line and have the visa DELIVERED to my home address before my cruise? Our cruise line (Princess) can do that on board, but I rather not stand in line if I can obtain the visa before the trip.

Dear Sir/Madam,

We could process evisa which you can use to enter Vietnam through border checkpoints. However, an evisa to Vietnam once issued is valid for 1 month. In addition, you have to give us the exact arrival and exit port. After making payment, please send us your passport scan + 1 passport photo in white background, we need it for visa processing. The fee is $44US/pax and it takes 3 working days.

Be noted: once you applied for E-VISA, it will be non-refundable for any reasons.

Regards,

Greetings Ms. Yan - Please advise the following:

1. Please provide URL for applying this type of Evisa, including URL / instructions to submit scanned passport & photo.
2. What does a "Evisa" look like: a PDF document that I need to print out and bring with me when passing the border checkpoint, or an eDocument that I could present at the border from my smart phone?
3. The port date of our (Princess) cruise will be 3/6/2018, does it mean I should NOT apply for this eVisa until 2/7/2018 due to the one-month restriction of this type of visa?
4. The cruise line itinerary is showing "Ho chi Minh city (phy My), Vietnam". Is this the "exact arrival and exit port" that I will be using for the visa application?

Dear sir or madam,

1. Please send your evisa application request to our email visa@vietnam-evisa.org , after entering required information and making payments via this link https://www.vietnam-evisa.org/payment-online.html , you would receive your evisa in 3-5 working days.

2. The evisa would be sent to your email in PDF file. However, you are advised to keep your e-Visa with you either as a soft copy (tablet PC, smart phone, etc.) or as a hard copy in case of any failure on system.

3. You can apply for an evisa now for your next year trip, since the evisa will be valid from your date of entry. However, you should make a concrete plan to make sure that your itinerary will not be changed.

4. Please ask the cruise travel agent the exact entry and exit port in this case.

For any further details, please contact us at visa@vietnam-evisa.org or call us at (+84) 909 343 525

Best regards,

Hannah Yan (Ms.)
