Cruise ship 1day visit to Phy Me

Hello we will be docking in Phy Me on the cruise ship April 16/4/2016. We will dock at 7.00 am Depart at 6.00pm . Why do we need a Visa for such a short visit when all our credentials are on our Australian Passport. Thanks. Kay Dobie.

It is the law of Vietnam Immigration even if you will stay in Vietnam just 1 day, you must apply Vietnam visa on arrival. In addition, if you travel to Vietnam by cruise, please go to Vietnam Embassy in your country to apply visa.
