I am backpacking through Asia with a friend from the UK and would like to enter Vietnam from Cambodia, Stay for 13 days and then leave into Laos.
Do both of us need a visa to enter Vietnam? And if i apply online for a Visa, do i need to fly into Vietnam from Cambodia or can i receive my Visa at the border if I travel by Bus?

We would like to inform that UK passport will have 15 days in Vietnam without visa However, the previous visit must be far from the next visit at least 30 days and your passport's validity must be more than 6 months. For South Africa, you need to apply visa before enter to Vietnam.
Both of you can apply visa on arrival on our website. You just need to fill your information in the form then make payment online. After 2 working days (tourist visa), we will send you the approval letter via email, you print it out to board the plane and use it to get visa stamp at Vietnam airport. However, if you want to get visa at the border we only can support this visa for UK passport. For South Africa, you need to contact with Vietnam Embassy to apply this visa.
