Visa

Nov 21, 2017
Hi
I am Australian and so are my children. My wife is French. We would like to visit Vietnam on the 14th of December and fly out on the 1st of January but then return on the 29th of January to catch our return flight back to France on the 30th of January. What type of visa will I need?
Thank you very much

Hi Johnny,

We would like to inform you that Australian passport holders need a Vietnam visa if they wish to enter the country. Referring to your itinerary, you should apply for a three month multiple visa. Besides, French citizens are granted a visa-exempt stay of 15 days with single entry. Their passports should have at least six months of validity upon the date of arrival to meet airlines’ requirements, and their arrival date is NOT within 30 days from their last exit date with visa exemption. Therefore, your wife can enjoy the visa exemption policy at the first visit and needs a three month single visa for the returning on Jan 29th.

Should you have any further enquiries, please do not hesitate to contact us at visa@vietnam-evisa.org or call us at (+84) 909 343 525

Best regards,

Hannah Yan (Ms.)
