Visa...?

Jan 18, 2017

Hey,

I'll be travelling to Vietnam on the 6th Feb for 13 days. I'm aware of British citizens being exempt from a visa if they're in the country for less than 15 days. However, do I need to provide proof of exit? Or do they just stamp my passport on arrival and again when I leave to check dates?

Any info would be much appreciated :)
Thanks
Anna

Dear sir/madam

Thank you for your question.

We would like to confirm you that according to the Vietnam Immigration's new policy, from July 1, 2015 to June 2017, UK passport holder do not need Visa if they stay in Vietnam less than 15 days. However, the previous visit must be far at least 30 days the next visit.  and your passport 's validity must be more than 6 months.

When you enter Vietnam, you do not need to provide proof of exit? The Vietnam immigration department will check you stamp on passport again when you leave to check dates.

Best regards.
