Visa for Japanese

May 24, 2017
Hello,

I'm Japanese. I have to go to Vietnam for 2 purposes (business and travel) for 2 trips;
May 30 (Round trip in 1 day) and June 7-8.

I have question as below;
- Do I need visa on arrival for both trips?
- Would you please give me the advises of type of visa, expense, receipt of service fee and visa fee?

Thank you in advance.

Dear Katrine,

Thank you for your email.

Japanese do not need Vietnam visa for 15 days, but the previous visit must be far 30 days the next visit and your passport must be valid at least 6 months.

So for the trip on May 30, if you haven't entered Vietnam before or your previous trip is far enough 30 days for this trip, you do not need to get visa. But for your trip on June 07, you need to apply for visa.

In case, you arrive in Vietnam for visiting, you can choose 1 month single visa for TOURIST purpose. The service fee to process 1 month single tourist visa is 19USD/person (NOT including stamping fee 25USD/person at Vietnam airport). For other type of visa, you can check the fee in this link https://www.vietnam-evisa.org/visa-fee/japan.html .

To get a receipt of visa, please send your request to our email, then we will send it via email for you.

Best Regards,

Elly
