Visa questions

May 25, 2016

Dear sir/madam,

I was wondering if you could confirm whether I have understood the visa regulations for Vietnam correctly. I have the Dutch nationality so I believe that requires me to apply for a visa approval letter first and then I can bring the letter and 2 photo's to Vietnam and purchase a visa upon arrival? Is it correct that this letter is required in advance or is it possible to apply for a visa in the airport without bringing any documents?
And is the price for a visa 25 dollars? Shoudl this be paid in dollars or are other currencies possible as well?

Thank you in advance for your time!

Kind regards,

Kim

Dear Sir/ Madam

Thank you for your questions.

We would like to confirm that Dutch need to apply visa to travel to Vietnam. And for visa on arrival, you need to apply online before you arrive in Vietnam. When you apply visa on arrival on our website, we will process and send you visa approval letter via email. You just need to print this letter out and use it to get visa stamp at the airport. Without this letter, you cannot get visa at the airport.

By the way, when you're on arrival, you need to present all things in the prepared package (passport, visa approval letter, 2 passport sized photos 4x6cm, the entry-and-exit form and stamping fee) to the Immigration officer to get your visa stamped. The stamping fee which you have to pay at the airport is 25USD/person for single entry visa and you can pay it by US dollar or Vietnam dong.

Any question, please feel free to contact us.

Regards,

Evisa Team
