Visa to Vietnam when travel on a cruise

Oct 22, 2012

To Whom It May Concern,

We are going on a cruise that will have 4 stops in Vietnam. We are American citizens. Do we need to apply visa for Vietnam before our trip in order to get off the ship when the ship docks?

Thank you for any information you can provide.

Regards,

Andrew

Dear Mr Andrew,

Thanks for your mail in the website www.vietnam-evisa.org.

We are pleased to answer your question. If the guests on board would like to go ashore in Vietnam you have to be charged an one-time nominal fee for visas on board the ship on arrival. Then you must be on board at night. You should contact to your cruise liner for more details.

If you have any request please feel free to contact us.

Best Regards,
