Arrival Process at Tan Son Nhat International Airport

1. Disembarkation and Immigration

• Follow signs: Upon landing at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, please follow the "Arrivals" signs to proceed to the immigration area.

• Required documents:

o Valid passport (minimum 6 months validity).

o Appropriate visa:

• E-visa: Print a copy of your approved e-visa/ Or show it on phone.
• Visa on Arrival (VOA): Present your visa approval letter and two passport-sized photos at the Visa Landing Counter before proceeding to immigration.
• Visa-exempt countries: Ensure you meet the exemption criteria.

o Present your documents to the officer.

o Receive an entry stamp in your passport.

2. Baggage Claim

• Proceed to the baggage claim area.

• Check the information screens for your flight's carousel number.

• Note: In some cases, luggage may be placed on the floor near the carousel; check both the carousel and surrounding area.

3. Customs Inspection

• Green Channel: If you have nothing to declare.

• Red Channel: If you're carrying items that need to be declared.

• Be prepared to have your luggage scanned.

According to Vietnamese regulations, if passengers exceed the duty-free limits for cigarettes, alcohol, alcoholic beverages, and personal belongings, they are required to pay customs duties to bring them into Vietnam.
