What is Vietnam visa on arrival?

Unlike visa issued by Vietnamese Embassy, Vietnam visa on arrival is issued by Immigration Department and can be apply online if the applicant has the sponsor or invitation from Vietnamese enterprise or individual.

What is the process of Vietnam visa upon arrival?

There are four steps needed to be completed:

Before arriving at Vietnamese International airport:

  • Step 1: Filling accurate passport information and visa request into the online application form;
  • Step 2: Making the online payment succesfully;
  • Step 3: Receiving and checking for the visa approval letter sent via email;

And the final step is to pick up visa stamp at the arrival.

In addition, each applicant should hold at least 6 month valid passport (it may not reach 6 months, as long as the airline allows him/her to join the flight) which includes at less as one blank page;
