Visa exemption for Vietnamese in Myanmar from 26th October 2013.Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affairs has signed agreement with Myanmar Ministry of Foreign Affairs about Visa exemption. The agreement will have valid from 26th October 2013. It’s said that Vietnamese can stay less than 14 days in Myanmar and vice versa as long as they have a more than 6 months valid passport. Visa is not necessary in this case. If they want to stay more than 14 days, they must ask for valid visa before entry.

Therefore Vietnamese can stay less than 14 days in 9 nations which are ASEAN member without visa from 26th October 2013. It makes an opportunity for Vietnamese people in work or tourist more comfortable and easier.

Today, it’s easier to get visa for Vietnamese people to entry or transit to countries which are ASEAN member. Procedure for entry and exit to ASEAN member country is shortened and more comfortable. In contrast it’s difficult to obtain visa for Vietnamese to entry or transit to United State of America or country in Europe

Lao: 30  Days
Malaysia: 30 Days
Philippines: 21 Days
